Elite Dog Grooming is Charlotte Cormier. She completed a Dog Grooming course in March, 1981 at Brenda’s All Breed Dog Grooming Academy. In 1983, she captured the first place title in Moncton at New Brunswick’s First Annual Canadian Dog Groomer’s Association Competition.
Following that victory, Charlotte competed in the National Dog Groomer’s Association Competition in Philadelphia, USA. The competition ultimately led to her being invited back to the United States to lead a seminar in “scissoring techniques.”
Scissoring techniques is a key core competency in the industry. It is what separates industry leaders both nationally and internationally.
Charlotte is a member of the National Dog Groomer’s Association of America (NGGAA) and and the Ontario Dog Groomers Association (ODGA). She has worked in the dog grooming field for 30 years as a groomer, assistant instructor, and an instructor at Brenda’s All Breed Dog Grooming Academy, later opening Elite Dog Grooming and Academy, teaching hundreds of students.
